Dolly and Friends: A Rhinestone Rhapsody celebrates the legendary songbook of Dolly Parton, from her timeless hits to iconic duets and superstar collaborations. It’s an elegant fusion of classical and country, honouring Dolly’s artistry through the power of strings and song.
About Dolly and Friends
This is not your typical wig-and-costume tribute show. Dolly and Friends brings together a world-class ensemble of vocalists and musicians whose collective credits include sharing the stage with Andrea Bocelli, Elton John, Robbie Williams, Il Divo and Marina Prior. The show takes audiences on a journey through Dolly’s life and career, celebrating her songwriting, performing and storytelling.
Dolly and Friends Performance Style and Highlights
Set within a sea of candlelight and enhanced by a dynamic interactive screen, the show blends stunning vocal harmonies with a rich variety of musical arrangements. One moment it’s the grand, elegant swell of The Crossing Machine string quartet; the next, the raw intimacy of a single acoustic guitar, violin and voice. It’s heartfelt, it’s elegant and it’s unapologetically Dolly.
