Richard Ortega & Cuban Social Club bring the sound of Havana to events across Australia. Led by Cuban pianist and musical director Richard Ortega, the group performs a vibrant mix of traditional and contemporary Cuban music, delivered by musicians who learned their craft the Cuban way.
About Richard Ortega & Cuban Social Club
Richard Ortega is one of the few authentically Cuban-trained musicians working in Sydney, and Cuban Social Club is his passion project. Bringing together experienced players who share his love of the music, the band captures the warmth, rhythm and joy of a night out in Havana, from the classic sounds that made Cuban music famous to fresh contemporary styles.
