Peter James is one of Australian comedy’s fastest rising stars and a sharp, personable host for corporate events. Based in Brisbane, he’s young, smart and quick on his feet, with the confidence to keep a room laughing and an event running smoothly from start to finish.
About Peter James
Peter has toured his solo shows extensively across Australia and is a regular at the country’s premier comedy clubs. He recently toured the UK as the opening act for Nurse Georgie Carroll, and he’s one half of the late-night cult comedy hit Shad & Pete Save The World, which regularly features some of Australia’s biggest comedy names as guests. He’s also the founder of Laughing Heart Comedy, Cairns’ premier comedy club.
Peter James Performance Style and Highlights
Peter’s comedy is smart, relatable and full of charm. He reads a room quickly, connects easily with mixed audiences and keeps the energy up without ever losing the crowd. Importantly for corporate clients, he can keep his material completely clean when the occasion calls for it, so there are no nervous glances at the CEO’s table.
Why Choose Peter James as Your MC or Comedian
A great host does more than tell jokes. Peter keeps the run sheet on track, introduces speakers with warmth, fills the gaps when things run late and gives the whole night a lift. As an experienced corporate event host, he’s a safe pair of hands whether you need a full-night MC or a stand-alone spot from one of the country’s most promising corporate comedians.
