On Saturday 25th January, Vogue Entertainment and Sandhurst Real Estate hosted a Bushfire Fundraising Event at The Sandhurst Club. The ‘Legends Show’ featured talented tribute artists, impersonators, musicians and dancers.
The successful event raised $29,863.75 for the Victorian bushfire and wildlife appeals and the Carrum Downs CFA.
Ashley Bravington, the Chair at Carrum Downs Fire Brigade shared with the audience how the local CFA was being deployed and helping in fighting the Victorian bushfires this season.
The 200 guests who attended the event hosted at The Sandhurst Club were dazzled by a stellar line up of entertainers including James Cupples from The Voice 2012, Andrea Lees, George Grayland from The Australian Joe Cocker Show, The Australian Whitney Houston Show featuring Tilarni Senn and Mike Cole as Always Elvis.
Our effort was greatly helped along by the generous team at SMART Business Solutions who contributed a cheque for $10,000! WOW!
Event organisers Lisa Gandy from Sandhurst Real Estate along with husband and wife team Jeremy LaBrooy and Candice Taylor from Vogue Entertainment put the event together in just 3 weeks. The event sold out within 5 days.
In fact this team are no strangers to organising charitable funding raising events. For the last 5 years they have teamed up to put on an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea at the same venue to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
“There are a lot of people that want to help those devastated by the bushfires. Our entertainers did not hesitate to generously donate their time and talents for this special event.” said Jeremy LaBrooy
